Malam-malam begini, kadang kadang kenangan lama melintas. Tersenyum sendirian. Semua manusia pun melalui the lowest point of their life. Tapi at this point, there were just another phase of life yang kena lalui.
Pak Aboo nak share sikit dengan kawan-kawan, satu quote yang Pakaboo baca, oleh seorang mat salleh tua traveller dari Poland, orang biasa biasa jer tak terkenal pun, cuma Pakaboo pernah berjiran khemah dengan dia masa kat Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Meninggal dah dia.
Dia tulis :
I've notice one thing changing in me, I've lost all my rush, Kilometer no longer impress me, whether there's 100, 200 or 600 of them, I'm in different to that, because I have to cross that distance anyway. So I'm not scared of the distances anyway.
And the same applies to time, whether I meant to be on the road 3 hours or 17, what's the difference? Either way, I have to reach my destination. I don't get stressed out by the slow, sometimes tortoise like speeds, I simply get into my vehicle and I ride as far and for as long, in absolute peace until I reached my destination that I have set to myself.
I also don't let the discomfort bother me, such as tough seat, blister ass cheek, the dust, or the lack of water.
All of these, in it's own way is beautiful and wonderful.
Whoever cannot adapt this kind of life, or in fact, cannot come to love this kind of life... cannot be a true traveller.
To be a true traveller requires "character".
Itu dia tulis. Inspiring jugak.
Cucu perempuan dia sekarang Vlogger/traveller, dapat tahu sebab baru tadi tengok youtube recommendation, quote tu sama sebijik dengan dalam buku yang atuk dia bagi baca kat campsite tu.
Satu benda yang Pak Aboo belajar ialah when it's hard to control, you just have to "slow down". Sebab Wan Harith Jarvis kabo : slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
Selamat malam, Assalamualaikum.
